Izic Yapias Elegible Football Kicker Skyline High School, Utah 2010

This is a football highlight movie for Izic Yapias. He is currently finishing his Jr. year at Skyline High School. All footage is taken from the 2010 football season. He did not miss ANY attempted field goals this year and he only missed one field goal his sophomore year! I'm very excited to see what he and the team will do this season!

Lauren has such a wonderful personality! She is a beautiful bride and so fun to work with. We filmed her using the Nano Flash on our XLH1 and also used our XHA1. We lucked out on the great thunder storm clouds in the distance, which gave this such a dramatic, beautiful look.

Weston & Sarah's wedding was held at the beautiful Rose Sach's Garden just up Parley's Canyon. They were able to squeeze in their ceremony between raindrops, but it was absolutely wonderful. The rain stopped just in time! The wedding was great and both Weston and Sarah were fabulous to work with.

We went with Chris and Christie up to the Zermatt Resort which is located in Midway, Utah to film their wedding. Their ceremony was beautiful and their reception was so much fun! They truly hosted a celebration of their day.

Wedding in Monterey

This is our 7/7/07 wedding in Monterey, CA. We went with Scott and Amy to the Monterey Plaza Hotel on Cannery Row. Their ceremony was held on the terrace with the majestic ocean in the background and beautiful sailboats crashing the waves in the distance. Their ceremony, performed by the groom's brother, was delightful. We were able to capture them getting ready for the day, which gave extra significance to their video.

Brenda Burch - "I'm Still Standing"

This song was written and performed by Brenda Burch. She is a rising local Country Artist who already has a number 1 hit in the UK! We really enjoyed the opportunity to "spread our wings" and make such a fun and professional video for her. The old tree we filmed at has special significance as it dates back to "pioneer" days. The story goes that a small child was left for dead under that tree but one of the women in the company couldn't stand the thought of the poor baby being left there without a proper burial. She went back and found the child, sitting under the tree, still alive and she adopted him and stayed there, in Cedar Fort, UT to raise him. The tree, like the baby and like so many of us, after trials is "Still Standing."

We made this film for the 2010 LDS 24 Hour Film Festival. The theme this year was: "Charity." The prop was: a Rock. And the line was: "I'm the one who." We had a great time filming all day and staying up all night to edit. We turned it in with about 1/2 hour to spare. These boys from our neighborhood inspired the story from their cute personalities!

We were lucky enough to be able to film this "home" Christmas concert by the Rob and Sharyl family in our neighborhood. Their talented children are Zac and Sarah.

Skyline vs Kearns

This is my son's football team. He is on the Skyline Juniors (Little League) team, which is the blue and gold. They are playing a well coached, formidable opponent, Kearns in yellow and green. It was a hard-fought battle, the final score was Skyline 21, Kearns 14. I use Hans Zimmer's, "Leave No Man Behind" from the soundtrack, "Blackhawk Down." Much of this footage was shot using the NanoFlash with my Cannon HLX1.

Chris & Christie

We shot this date / engagement video with Chris and Christie to show at their wedding reception. They went back to the place they were engaged and did a little re-enactment for the camera. The only difference was they were engaged in November and we did this in the summer. We also shot at the Gallivan Center and at Memory Grove, all in Salt Lake City, UT. I think we all had a blast!

I just purchased the Convergent Design Nano Flash and have been playing around with it. I am very impressed and pleased with the results. This is my son's football team and was shot with a Canon XL-H1 with the nano flash set at 100 megabits at full 1920/1080

All right, this is my third attempt at this and I think I have improved upon it. What I did is change the music to a group called Tryad and used a song called Breathe. It is on Jamendo. I love the music and feel this group of musicians is very talented. I also shortened several clips and made the cuts more sharp. Please give me feedback.

Project Bandaloop from Lifelong Memories Films on Vimeo.We were given the great opportunity by the dance company's director of photography to film this very talented group of dancers, who performed at the arts festival put on by the Governor's office of economic development. The dance group is called Project Bandaloop. Filming was Cory Anderson and myself. The company's director of photography was also filming and will be putting together the complete performance. Another family fishing trip from Lifelong Memories Films on Vimeo.

We live in an area that has several reservoirs close by with great fishing. This particular place, Little Dell Reservoir, is about 15 minutes from our home. Although, we did not catch anything we had fun as a family.

Our family spent a week at a condo at Bear Lake - June 22-28, 2009. (On the boarder of Utah and Idaho) We had a blast! My mother got the time share and my brother and his family were also able to come. We rented a boat one of the days and really enjoyed ourselves! I took my Canon XLH1 and my 6x lens. The wild flowers in the mountains were gorgeous! We were told, due to the heavy rains and mild temperatures this year, the flowers were about a month late in blooming, so we lucked out to see them! It's too bad we had to come back home to life and reality!!

Capitol Reef National Park

Over the Memorial Day weekend (2009) my family had the opportunity to travel to one of many national parks in my home state of Utah. Capitol Reef is a less visited and less widely known park than say, Arches or Bryce Canyon but its beauty rivals the best of them! What made this visit special was the rain, which is not a common occurrence in Southern Utah. It made everything pristine and beautiful. I chose the theme song from Jurassic Park by John Williams for the music because it feels so majestic and matched the mood I was trying to create.

Adam and Jenna's wedding was held at  Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Salt Lake City. Everything about it was absolutely elegant and beautiful and the ceremony was wonderful to be a part of.

Bo & Mandy

Bo and Mandy were such a cute and photogenic couple! They were fun to work with and had a great wedding. The couple requested "Rose" from the Titanic for their song, which is why I used sepia at the beginning here, to bring in an "old fashioned feel". Mandy also used "Rose" to as her wedding march. It was absolutely beautiful!
